The Bad About Mineral Oil

One of the reasons it has become popular as a skin care product is
that it forms a film over the skin that prevents the skin from
contacting or absorbing anything in the environment.

For example, it’s best to keep a rash dry, and mineral oil helps
prevent the absorption of water.

Large cosmetic companies are continuing to use synthetic and
petrochemical ingredients in personal care products.

Pick up any bottle of lotions, cream, shampoo, conditioner, or
toothpaste in your house right now and see how many nutritive
ingredients they contain.

Another popular use is in bath oils. In this case, it supposedly keeps
moisture locked in, and makes the skin feel smooth. Since dry skin
generally feels rough and flaky, the assumption is that if the skin

feels smooth, then it is moist.

Mineral Oil Increases
the Photo-Aging of the Skin

We wonder why we keep looking older, why our skin continues to
dry out, even with all the products we use? (Plus you will burn faster
when using petroleum products... and a burn is not a tan).

So, the skin problem is not being treated, it’s being masked, and
possibly even worsened.

This will quickly be obvious once you stop using the products, and
find that the skin problems immediately reappear.

Also, your skin can become more dehydrated because mineral oil
dissolves your skins nutritive oil.

You may also want to check the label on the baby oil you're using. Most are 100% mineral oil. Petroleum, paraffin oil and propylene glycol are all derivatives of mineral oil and have similar effects on your skin.

The solution is to use a product that locks in moisture and forms a protective barrier against environmental toxins, without leaving a greasy or oily film that prevents the body from absorbing oxygen and eliminating wastes – which

is how a shielding nutritive product works.

Why Is Mineral Oil Used ?

Manufacturers use petrolatum because it is unbelievably cheap.
Mineral oil, a common ingredient in commercial lotions, creams, and
baby care products.

It is produced as a byproduct of the distillation of gasoline from

crude oil, the same stuff they make gasoline from.

Mineral oil is leftover liquid, and because it is abundant, it is very
inexpensive.

It is less expensive for manufacturers to purchase these by-products
as a filler than it is for the industry to dispose of it.

Mineral oil is the main ingredient in many baby care items as well. Baby oil, Vaseline, baby wash liquid soap, and
baby lotions all contain mineral oil as a key ingredient.

In fact 98% of all cosmetics use mineral oil, including your eye shadow, blush, lipstick, shaving cream and your
everyday moisturizer and lotion you use at home.

It is also used in most SPF sunscreen.

What Is The Alternative To Mineral Oil?

Over recent years there has been an increase in research into
mineral oil alternatives, driven by the demand for products which are
more environmentally friendly.

However, many alternatives are not as stable or as cost effective as
mineral oil and as a result have not been as effective in replacing
them. Due to the high cost of nutritive or botanical oils.

Our products are formulated with pure botanical ingredients that are
quickly absorbed by the skin to hydrate and protect it from the
environment and the hand of time by allowing the skin to breathe.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender Oil is Indigenous to the mountain zones of the
Mediterranean, lavender thrives in stony habitats that have access to lots of sunlight. Lavender can be found growing in the wild throughout southern Europe. Lavender is actually a shrub with heavy branches that grows up to about 60 cm.

Wood-like branches grow from the broad rootstock and green leaf-like shoots resembling rods protrude out from the branches. The narrow, grayish green leaves covered in a silver blanket-like substance taper down from the base.

The leaves are oblong in shape and attach directly at the base in curled spiral-like patterns. Herbalists have also used lavender oil to treat skin ailments including fungal infections, burns, wounds, eczema, and even acne.

Lavender does an excellent job at balancing oil production in the skin as well as clearing blemishes and evening
skin tone. It is indicated for all skin types and even helps to hydrate dry skin.

Lavender can be used at any step in your skin care regimen. Clary-Sage is another great oil for acne and it also

does a wonderful job with wrinkles and fine lines as well. Lavander oil is a great for acne and skin infections in general. It is a powerful antibacterial and anti fungal agent.

People that suffer with pimples all their life would be surprised that they may have created their problem by using skin care products containing chemicals.

A typical example is the regular soap that you have used since childhood on your body, hands and hair.

Remember, all those cleansers are made with harsh detergents and in time can create allergic, sensitive reactions
and persistent acne condition.

Many people find that with traditional c
lear skin treatments their pimples and skin becomes worse.

The chemicals used in most acne products can actually irritate your skin, causing redness and inflammation.

Our
clear skin products will help promote a clear complexion.

Testimonials:

  I had moderate body
and shoulder area. I
have been using the
anti-bacterial treatment
for about 2 weeks now
and I can see that my
acne is disappearing. I
also use it on my face to
prevent zits from
happening. The bottome
line, I would recommend
this acne treatment for
body/face acne!

Bonnie V Largo FL

The polish helps even the
big nasty pimples in a few
days, with the smaller ones
go away in hours. It really
does help to minimize the
appearance of most acne
after I apply it, too. Overall
I would say it is a great
produce for anyone who,
like me, considers even
minor acne to be a major
annoyance!

Terry C Brookings SD

The acne polish is truly
an alternative to
everyting else on the
market. The gel goes on
really smooth and leaves
a nice smooth texture
that does not feel dry at
all, yet it completely
eliminates oiliness on the
skin. Very expensive but
worth the price.

Gusta R Sharpsburg GA

I have been using this acne
polish for over a year now
and my skin has never
looked better. You only
need a tiny bit and the
beads are perfectly round
so I don't get any irritation.
It's amazing!

Pat Willis Hamden CT

I love this stuff. It
amazingly and makes
your skin feel so soft. I
have adult acne and
notice that when i use
this stuff before i go to
bed y skin is much less
irritated in the morning.
Love it love it love it.

Susan L Rumson NJ

After giving birth and having
my skin go nuts from
hormonal changes, the spot
treatment was the ONLY
product that worked.
Blemishes that would not
get smaller in months were
gone in days. Well worth
the price!

Victoria W Excelsior MN

I've tried a lot of
treatments and this one
really works. I like that I
can wear it during the
day as well as at night.
Works exceptionally well.
Clears pimple faster than
other types of
treatments I have used
and reduces the redness
very quickly.
