Sage Extract ( Salvia officinalis)

Sage is native to southern Europe, but cultivated worldwide. It is a perennial herb
growing up to 3 foot tall with large green hairy leaves with and small blue flowers.
The oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowering tops and leaves. The oil
acts as a potent antifungal and antibacterial agent. Acts as an anhidrotic, antibiotic,
antifungal, astringent, antispasmodic, estrogenic, hypoglycemic, and tonic. Has also
been shown to improve the health of hair by restoring color and promoting growth.

Sage is a purifying, antimicrobial, antiseptic and astringent botanical that is a
tremendous conditioner for the hair. It not only has an active agent to eliminate hair
loss but it strengthens and thickens the current hair shaft as well.
   
           
    Sarsaparilla Root Extract ( Smilax root )

Sarsaparilla is a nutritive herb that has been used for liver disease and syphilis.
However, it is most commonly used in connection with eczema, psoriasis, and other
skin disorders. Studies have showed it to be diuretic, cleansing and
anti-inflammatory. Chemicals in sarsaparilla might help decrease joint pain and
itching, and might also reduce bacteria. Some supplement makers claim that
chemicals (sterols) in sarsaparilla can be converted to anabolic steroids like
testosterone. But this is a false claim. The sterols contained in sarsaparilla are not
anabolic steroids nor are they converted in the body to anabolic steroids.
Testosterone has never been detected in any plant, including sarsaparilla.
   
           
    Saw Palmetto Extract ( Serenoa repens )

Saw palmetto is grown in the southern part of the United States and it was used by
Native Americans for various medicinal properties. Hair growth and hair loss
reduction was first noted as a side effect of the extract when used for treating
prostate problems. Recent research has concluded that saw palmetto reduces the
production of DHT throughout the body, which allows hair follicles to become active
and restart hair growth cycles. It is also said that saw palmetto can rejuvenate
maturing skin while adding shine and reducing its sensitivity to stress and irritation.
   
           
    Silver Fir (Abies Alba)

Commonly referred to as “Silver Fir,” this stately tree grows in forests in mountain
areas. It is often used as a Christmas Tree. The essential oil is obtained from the
leaves of this plant and serves as a disinfectant and decongestant. It also imparts a
fresh, aromatic fragrance.
   
           
    Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae Rhamnoides)

Commonly referred to as Sea Buckthorn, this summer green shrub, native to
Europe and Asia, features silver-gray branches and coral red, edible berriesSea
Buckthorn Oil, made up of Beta Cerotene, Provitamin A and Vitamin E, helps protect
the skin from UV radiation and free-radical damage. These easily absorbed oils
support the nutritive buildup of the skin’s lipid layers and possess anti-inflammatory
properties.
   
           
    Soapwort Extract ( Saponaria officinalis )

The common name of this member of the carnation family indicates it's traditional
use in washing; the root produce a lather on contact with water. It has an ancient
reputation for treating skin conditions such as psoriasis,dandruff, eczema, boils, and
acne. Soapwort's use for gout and rheumatism is probably effective because of the
anti-inflammatory and depurative properties. Soapwort is tonic, diaphoretic and
alterative; and forms a remedy in the releif of syphilitic, scrofulous and cutaneous
