Personally, I was not to fond of the smell, neither was my girlfriend. If they could fix the smell this product would easily be a 4. My dogs fur seems softer and the color looks vibrant. No more itchy dog for this household.
Jean – smell is a bit off but it works
This is my 4th purchase of this shampoo. I use it every few weeks on my English bulldog Marley. This really has done the trick for his irritated dry skin. I wish they would sell this in Petco or PetSmart because sometimes shipping can take a while to arrive.
Joey – Great product. Shipping took awhile
First, I will say this product has been great. I have purchased it twice and my dogs skin and coat has never looked or felt better. My last purchase when I opened the box the bottle has leaked everywhere. I understand shipping and it may have been UPS fault. I contacted JN and there were nice enough to send me a new bottle.
Amanda – worked great. But shipping
The product is a bit expensive, I guess because its natural but then there is shipping included. I will say I do really like this shampoo and it has worked wonders in lessening my dog’s irritation.
Camila – Shipping could be cheaper but worth the wait
If your dog is non-stop licking, scratching or biting to the point of wounding, then the scratching is most likely a symptom of an underlying condition. Fortunately, one of the most common causes of your dog’s itching is dryness.
Dry skin is fairly easy to recognize. Part your dog’s hair, and you will see flakes of dandruff in the undercoat. The skin itself may be cracked and tough.
There are several potential causes of dermatitis or dry, itchy skin in dogs:
Environment - Many dogs are very sensitive to simple grasses found in lawns or the chlorine found in swimming pools.
Nutrition- Without proper nourishment, skin problems can manifest in dogs as a reaction. If you feed your dog dry dog food, the first ingredient listed should be a meat.
Parasites - Repeated exposure to fleas can trigger hypersensitivity from the bite of even a single flea. Sometimes, this can be misread as an allergy instead.
Allergies- Ingredients in food, carpets or clothing fibers, medications, plants, pollen materials and even dust can all trigger allergic reactions in your dog.
Infections- Bacteria, fungus and yeast are pathogens that cause coat and skin problems in dogs. Dogs can develop sensitivities to the detergent chemicals commonly used in today's dog shampoos.
Unfortunately, you may never know if the dog shampoo or other product you are using is the cause of your dog's skin irritation or dermatitis. Many products may cause dry, itchy and irritated or flaky sky in your dog.
Many dog care products do not list the ingredients or they list vague sounding ingredients such as vegetable based surfactant, essential oil blend, and more. For the safety of your dog, you should have a clear understanding of what is in your dog care products.

I have only used this shampoo ONCE on my Pitbull and I was VERY impressed. No matter what shampoo I’ve used before, he typically tries to move away from me as I'm bathing him, his shedding is horrible, he has flakes from I assume his dry skin, and he scratches and digs at his dry skin. However, as soon as I applied this shampoo, he moved towards me and started licking me. Sign one this stuff must be better. He hasn’t been scratching nearly as much as what he used to. There are no more flakes and his shedding has been nonexistent. This shampoo is thick and smells great. I am beyond happy that it looks like I FINALLY have found a shampoo that works for my fur baby!

Smells good, and it is organic oatmeal shampoo. My dog doesn't have any daily flea and tick problems so I think this shampoo works great. After bath, my dog smells nothing. Looks very clean. I do not want my dog to smell like oatmeal, because then, that would be too strong odor for shamppoo. It is just enough odor, and I love it! Definitely recommended! PS. I take my dog shower at least once every other week, and I've been using this product for such a long time. So I love it!

My corgi is so glossy! His coat is so soft and easily brushed. As I rinsed my dog it came off cleanly with no residue. He has a light clean scent with no lingering "wet dog" aroma. (I just sniffed him again to be sure.) This is the best dog shampoo I've used. I'm not sure about the itch reduction, but he's already less scratchy. So she doesn't feel left out: my other pup is a chi-Terrier mix. Her coat is slightly wiry with a sleek undercoat. She is floofed! Kind of like she was spun out of a cotton candy machine. Her normally difficult to brush fur was tame and loose. She's still hiding from the horrors of bath time, but I don't hear her scratching anywhere.

I recently adopted a morkie (yorkie / maltese). Within a month of having her she was having some skin allergies (maybe food / environment induced). I was worried about needing to take her to the vet & spending $$ on allergy tests, etc. So as a last resort before taking her in, I changed her shampoo & dog food. She doesnt scratch or be herself as much & she smells better :) Over all - good product.

My dog has been using this for a few months and I really like it! I have tried a variety of dog shampoos with Oatmeal but this one has been my favorite so fat. My dogs coat feels really soft and she smells really good. Before using this my dog would scratch herself a lot, I feel like this has really helped relieve the itching.
