Birch Essential Oil (Betula alba)

Manuka Essential Oil (Leptospermum scoparium)
Manuka essential oil may also present a naturally effective anti-bacterial alternative against acne. Manuka is native to Australia and New Zealand and the oil is gently steam distilled. The manuka plant is an evergreen shrub with deep green fragrant leaves with small white to pink flowers. Its medicinal uses have been known for a long time among by the Maori, the original inhabitants of New Zealand. The antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties of remarkable Manuka oil help skin irritation and acne-causing bacteria. It is non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing.

I use this itchy scalp treatment to help with my contact dermatitis. This has been going on for years, and I've suffered through it. The only thing that ever gave me any relief was steroid cream. The itch relief is pretty much IMMEDIATE. That's right, IMMEDIATE. This is a great alternative to steroids or other meds. Has a strong menthol scent but worth the relief.
