This is the first psoriasis shampoo I have boughten since I was 17 years old, that didn't smell really, really bad. Seriously, since I was diaqnosed with scalp psoriasis it's just been a constant battle trying to find the perfect shampoo. Most of them smell and look like tar, which is what they're made of, but you don't want your hair to smell like that. It's bad enough you have to have psoriasis, but having to smell like tar is like a big bulletin board for it! Anyways, perfect shampoo, I love love love it has no smell!

I like this shampoo. I have psoriasis and have for years. It is in remission right now but my scalp still gets irritated by other shampoos that are heavily perfumed. It helps soothe the itch and has some conditioning so you may not need a separate conditioner.

Scalp problems

It may take years for this irritation to appear and show symptoms. However the damage is done, the health of your scalp and hair follicles has been weakened.

This can lead to increased problems.

When your scalp is in poor health it is susceptible to fungus, bacteria, inflammation, dryness, itchiness and eventually hair loss.

The scales of psoriasis are thicker and somewhat drier in appearance.

In addition, psoriasis usually affects more than one area of the body.

If you have scalp psoriasis, you may also have mild psoriasis on your elbows, knees, hands or feet or may notice subtle nail change.

Testimonials

I was so tired of constant psoriasis breakouts that involved my face and scalp. I started using this shampoo and could feel a difference within a few days! I use this shampoo as a spot treatment on my face as well being careful not to get it in my eyes. I can't be without this shampoo!!!

Nicole A Long Beach CA

This is the only product on the market that i can use on my skin, this botanical shampoo calmed my dry inflamed skin within one day.

Melinda I Port Matilda PA

Psoriasis runs in my family, and I've been pretty lucky and never had any symptoms until now. I've always had a slight dandruff problem, but nothing that head and shoulders couldn't fix. A few months ago, I started to get the red spots on my scalp and some serious dandruff that H & S couldn't fix it. It was awful, itchy, and there were flakes everywhere. I wash my hair hair every other day and stuck to that schedule and after two weeks, all the problems have completely cleared up! No more dandruff and the red, itchy patches are almost gone. I was so happy, and plan to continue using the shampoo twice a week for maintenance.

This is the best product I have found for relief of scalp psoriasis. I am very glad I found it. If you have an itchy, flaking scalp, or scalp psoriasis, you need to try this product. I have tried everything over the years, from over the counter to prescription meds, and nothing has really helped. Would recommend it.

Keri A Crescent Springs KY

I've used this psoriasis shampoo for about one month and I can REALLY tell the difference. The key is to let it sit on your head for a minute like the directions suggest. I work it in all over for a minute, let it sit for a minute and my hair is shiny, and smooth. I also only wash every other day, and my hair doesn't get a greasy build up. And it doesn't smell!
