Use preferably after shampooing on clean hair.
Shake well. Splash a few drops of tonic (about 2ml) directly onto your scalp.
Press and pat lightly with your finger tips, then massage scalp for about 3 minutes.
Apply once or twice daily.
As a suggestion, massage a few drops into your scalp at night or apply to your hair brush and brush your hair thoroughly.
TIPS:
To get more volume, avoid adding any conditioners to the roots of the hair.
Comb and brush hair like if it was made of lace. You do not want to break your hair.
Switch the part of your hair. By doing this, the tonic can help lift the hair from the scalp, making the hair look fuller.

Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis)
Evening Primrose oil is made from the seeds of the beautiful flowers of the Evening Primrose plant. Since the oil is rich in omega fatty acids it will moisturize the skin and scalp to keep nourished.
Horsetail Extract (Equisetum arvense)
It probably got its name due to its likeness to a horse's tail. In fact, the origin of its Latin name Equisetum, a combination of 'equs' meaning 'horse' and 'seta' meaning 'bristle' could be attributed to this resemblance. This relative of the fern is a descendant of large plants that grew on earth, some 270 million years ago. Silica in horsetail extract is thought not only to slow down hair fall in both men and women, but also encourages growth of new hair follicles. Horsetail extract helps to increase blood circulation, nourishes hair follicles and assist hair growth. The amino acids and phytosterols in horsetail help strengthen hair follicles while also reducing oil buildup on the scalp.
Nettle Root Extract (Urtica dioica)
Nettle Root has been used since ancient times as a hair treatment, growth stimulant, and to help restore nutritive hair color and shine. It is said that the ancient Greeks, Romans and the native tribes of America, had used this herb for medicinal purposes. The root contains polysaccharides and lignans that have an effect similar to steroid hormones. It may that may possess antiviral properties and acts as an anti-inflammatory.
Lemongrass Essential Oil (Cymbopogon flexuosus)
Lemongrass is found around the world from India to Thailand. It has a sweet, herbaceous lemony aroma. Lemongrass oil is created by distilling dried lemongrass. Its anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, antioxidant and therapeutic properties make lemongrass useful for skin and hair. Lemongrass essential oil helps to balance oily skin, smells grassy-lemony, and rejuvenates oily skin and hair.
Basil Essential Oil (Ocimum basilicum)
It is a common household remedy for various ailments, and used in Ayurveda medicine. Basil essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the flowering herb. Basil essential oil possesses anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
Clary Sage (Salvia officinalis)
Clary Sage is native to southern Europe, but cultivated worldwide. It is a perennial herb growing up to 3 foot tall with large green hairy leaves with and small blue flowers. The oil is obtained by steam distillation from the flowering tops and leaves. The oil acts as a potent anti-fungal and anti-bacterial ingredient.
Panthenol(Pro-Vitamin B5)
Panthenol is a form of Vitamin B that is made from plants. This is a natural, hydrating skin and hair vitamin. It causes the hair to appear shiny because of its ability to seal the surface of the hair. Its moisturizing abilities make it useful in hair conditioning, resulting in softer hair that's easy to comb. Its deep moisturizing ability also makes it useful in hydrating products that promise to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It contains antimicrobial properties.
Aloe Vera(Aloe barbadensis)
Aloe Vera has been used for improving skin conditions as the ancient Egyptians called it the “plant of immortality.” A succulent plant with rejuvenating and soothing properties, aloe vera holds many benefits for the skin. It has been used topically for thousands of years to improve skin conditions. It contains vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B6, and B12. Aloe Vera also contains over 200 other naturally occurring nutrients such as enzymes, amino acids and sterols. Aloe gel is extracted from the leaves of the plant and when applied to the skin, softens dead skin cells leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth.
Neroli Hydrosol(Citrus aurantium)
Neroli oil which is used to make the hydrosol, is a plant oil produced from the blossom of the bitter orange its scent is sweet and honeyed. It is a nontoxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing, non-phototoxic nutritive ingredient. The oil is produced from the blossoms of these trees. Neroli oil must be extracted by water distillation instead of steam distillation due to the delicate nature of these blossoms.

This product is one of my favorites from JN. My hair is very straight and fine. I spray this in my hair when its upside and it makes my hair look massive. The smell of the spritz is light and nongreasy. The volume lasts through an 8-hour shift without a problem. My hair still feels very supple without the normal stiffness that other hairsprays have. I found the product volume that delivers on its promise. It does not make my hair feel sticky and it does not dull out my hair. My hair feels and looks fuller. I have tried other volume or lifting products and they did not do what this product does. Smells good too!
